Cybersmart Character

Today I was learning  to put comments to be Cybersmart.
I enjoyed working with my buddy to do our Cybersmart character.
I found it challenging to name to our charter.

A Lion's Dinner by Joy Cowley

I like A Lion's Dinner. The lion sits under an acacia tree. The lion was too weak. He found some elephants and he saw a baby elephant.  The elephants circled around him. Then the lion went away. Then he found a herd of zebras and saw a baby zebra. The lion jumped out of his place and scared the herd. He was circled by vultures. 
I like the book because the lion got his  dinner.   

Mount Everest

I dressed as Sir Edmund Hillary. I'm climbing Mount Everest to the top. Got my gear. I'm ready. The oxygen tank is because the air is thin up there.

Winter Poem

Today I was learning to use screencastify.
I enjoyed doing the winter poem.
I found it challenging to it was hard to make my video.

Today I was learning to remove the background from photos.
I enjoyed finding the photo of the dog I wanted.
I found it challenging to find the image of the dog.

Plant garlic for Matariki

Garlic
We planted garlic as a new plant for Matariki.You plant garlic on the shortest day. We planted the garlic in the soft soil. We planted all the garlic cloves separately.
On the cloves there was a pointed bit and a flat bit. We dug a hole 4 to 5 cm deep. We planted garlic with the pointed bit facing up and the flat bit facing down. We can make garlic butter.

Beaut Ukes performance

Last week we went to the theatre and performed at the Young Ukers concert.
